Paint Preparation Technician

Game Composites is currently accepting applications for full-time paint team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Team members will assist preparing composite parts and assemblies for paint.

Daily operations may include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand and adhere to the company’s quality and safety procedures
  • Sanding, surface preparation
  • Application of body filler
  • Application of paint masking
  • Handling composite and parts and jigs
  • Assisting with preparation of paint materials
  • Operation and maintenance of paint equipment

Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
  • Must pass pre-employment tests including a drug screening and background check
  • Must be willing to learn

CNC Operator

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for operation and maintenance of our 5-axis CNC machine
  • Set up, adjust, and operate precision machining operations. Includes aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto the machine
  • Convert CAD files into CNC programs, for mostly composite materials
  • Monitor the machine during the machining process
  • Measure, examine, and/or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Perform mechanical and assembly work as needed
  • Training of assisting personnel
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years CNC set-up and operating experience on 5-axis machines.
  • Minimum 5 years Mastercam experience
  • Minimum 5 years SolidWorks experience
  • Ability to read procedure manuals and work instructions
  • Knowledge of the metric system
  • Knowledge of math, geometry and trigonometry
  • Familiar with the use of power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time

Design Engineer

For ongoing development and to fulfill increasing demand, we are now accepting applications for a full-time Design- and Certification Lead Engineer to join our team.

Job Duties

  • Issue and revise certification programs
  • Issue and revise test plans
  • Issue and revise compliance reports
  • work with ACO on Major Change approvals
  • work with foreign regulators on TC validations
  • Create, modify and update engineering drawings – for both individual components and large, complex assemblies – in accordance with our procedure manual
  • Maintain the change register
  • Issue and update compliance documents and reports
  • Collaborate with our production team to improve the product and production efficiency

Professional requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with FAA compliance documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Solid Works
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with EPDM and ability to follow our internal work flow
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience editing large assemblies
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in 3D modelling
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Practical engineering experience
  • Knowledge of standard aviation fasteners and AN hardware
  • Knowledge of the metric system

Personal requirements

  • US citizen or able to provide proof of authorization to work in the US
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
